What to expect from a Transformational Breath® session

  • A 1:1 session lasts approximately 1hr 30 mins

  • First session will include a few questions about your medical  history and personal circumstances

  • We will discuss your needs and desires and set an intention  for the session

  •  You will be asked to lie flat on the floor, or sit comfortably on  a chair depending on any medical issues you have shared

  • You will receive an explanation of the technique and a personal breathing analysis

  •  The 'active' breathing part of the session will last around 45 mins

  • Acupressure touch will be gently applied to certain areas of the body to aid release of tension

  • Toning, using a combination of sound and movement, might also be used to relax the breath

  • There then follows a 15 mins period of deep relaxation,  to allow the process to integrate and to ensure to reach the end in a calm and peaceful state

  • To conclude, we will discuss your experience and and how you can incorporate a self-practice into your daily life

TESTIMONIAL

"I wanted to explore transformational breath work after hearing about it on a podcast but I was admittedly a tad nervous about how 1:1 sessions might feel. I needn't have been. Lou put me at ease and spent time talking to me about what had brought me to transformational breath sessions and what I hoped to find through the experience.

Lou was sensitive and caring and created a safe space where I felt comfortable to let myself really breathe. Some of the practices felt challenging for me at first and over the sessions Lou gently helped me relinquish some of my inhibitions.

I would highly recommend sessions with Lou for anyone looking to experience transformational breath."
